We collect the information we need to advise you and to meet our legal and regulatory duties. Depending on our relationship, this may include:
Most of this information comes from you. We also receive information from the platforms and custodians that hold your investments, from your other professional advisers with your agreement, and from public sources used for anti-money laundering checks.
If you give us information about another person, such as a family member, please make sure they know you have done so.
UK data protection law allows us to use personal information only where we have a lawful basis. The table shows what we use your information for and the basis we rely on.
Health information is special category data. We use it only with your explicit consent or where UK data protection law otherwise permits, for example to protect your economic well-being as a vulnerable customer.
Information about criminal offences may come to light through anti-money laundering and sanctions checks. We use it only as the law allows for those checks.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

This includes recordings of calls. We may keep records longer where we need them to deal with a complaint or legal claim.
If you contact us or apply but do not become a client, we keep your information for up to 12 months and then delete it.
We protect your information with access controls, multi-factor authentication and encryption, and we limit access to the people who need it. We do not hold client money: your investments are held in your own name with your platform or custodian.
